he talked 4eva for 1 good point. Just learn bpm and figure out how far 1-8 +- pitch you need to adjust. Hint 1% of 100 bpm is 99 or 101 bpm. The new Red Alerts get at me!!! P.E.A.C.E.
You are brilliant!

Lets say you were mixing the other song into Benassi, so Benassi was going to be the new song that you are going to play. After you get the beats matched, and then benassi is being played solely, and you begin to get another record out to mix benassi into for the next song. Can you then speed benassi back down to 130 where as you you dont need it to be at 138 anymore because you already matched the beats and the other song is long gone?
@DevasionRecords Personal preff, I do a combination
what should you focus on more, slowing down the 1st track to the 2nd one, or speeding up the 2ndd track to match the 1st one? or meeting in the middle
good vid but I would suggest instead of just using the pitch control, do some pushing and pulling on the turntable so that you can lock in the bpm faster and then adjust the pitch accordingly
can’t flick with that one
@redsox1024 think about it. drums are low, so the bass. and a little bit of mid. so turn down the high on that record and 90% of the mid on the other.
then think about the vocals & guitar. mostly mid & high. so turn down most of the bass (vocals do have alittle bit of bass sound), and leave the mid & high. that should work
@iamproxbox you do that to get the first beat. you listen to the record in your headphones and find the first beat. and you let the record go while the table is spinning. that way you don’t have to wait for the table to start spinning and you’re right on beat when you drop it. then it’s easier to beatmatch
Wow man, thanks. At first all those buttons and knobs look overwhelming. I watched this lesson and it brought out a broader spectrum for me to concentrate.
