The CD player will constantly read the cd and keep updating the BPM in real time. You shouldn’t try to dj with BPM counters, my friend does it and his mixing is shockingly bad, not only that, but he will NEVER get a perfect mix doing it that way.

Im investing in a new cd player with BMP display, do i need to provide it with the BPM beforehand when i put it on a CD, or does it somehow get the BMP itself? I presume the first?

What about mixing a beat like this, traditional 1(bass kick) 2(snare) 3(Bass Kick) 4(snare)—with— 1(bass kick) 2(bass kick) 3(snare) 4(snare). I find a lot of this when I mix Dn’B.

sometimes palcing beat from new song between two beats from old song exactly in the middle gives nice effect.
