this shit is stupid, now every fucking kid and their dog can be a dj. i liked it when it was a small movement and you had to learn on your own by listening to others and watching people at raves or parties. i never had a video or another dj teaching me
I have just learned something new counting bpms
thank you very much this tutorial help me out.now i know how to count my bpms manually it will be a breeze to do it to any type of beat/song/genre
cheers johnno thanks for the tips
I Hope you already know it, if not:
channel 1: 128 BPM
channel 2: 132 BPM
channel 1 is playing, you decrease channel 2 from 132 – 128.
Ok…I understand the need to make this tutorial….but…..
I think…if a person….wanting to be a dj….dont understand these…before even get his hands on a CDJ….he is in a big trouble….and he should better find another hobby…
How do you crossfade from say 128bpm – 132bpm. Do you increase the pitch of 128bpm – 132 or decrease the bpm from 132 – 128? im kinda new at Djing but with trance im having a difficult time trying to have the same pitch. I cue the track on the beat except the Pitch is always off
i use many programs like Mix In Key but still having triuble can any give any advide or know of a video that explains how to do this
you can also for 15seconds and just multiply beat number by 4
your videos are realy great!! thx from france
dude you rock.. you explain well also.. good job.. waiting for complete tutorials for beginers, intermediates and advanced djs
keep up the good work
Can you give me a good song name to train the bpm?
hey do u have any tutoring on the b-52 Prodigy FX ??
im still curious why we need to twiddle the pitch control up and down until it is where we want it.. i just usually move it to where i want it… does it make the beat sound much smoother ?
hard
Wish I could practice right beside you. You really know how to explain =). Thankx for sharing mate.
When I started to dj I always downloaded the tracks of my vinyls from youtube just to look, how many bpm they have. Maybe it’s cheating, but it’s an idiot proof way to get into beatmatching.
Hi, I would like to know where did you get all that money to buy all the Pioneer mixers and cd players???!!!!! because I have seen almost all your videos and always you’ve got a different pioneer. XD
Please check out my artist’s new single “Shawty in the Spotlight”……..if you don’t like it then you’re human, lol

The great / worst thing abought the Internet is that you never really know who your talking 2.
If you ever get past the bedroom you will discover less than perfect hearing is a direct result of paid experience.
Wow, its insane how many video views you get now on your videos!
thanks !!!
: )

That was a awesome video. I am glad you did this video. Living in a digital world we forget to do anything the hard way. we rely to much on everything automatic for us. its good to know this stuff especialy for our younger generation of djs. Take it old school my friend.
I think u meant to say seconds..
I think he says 1 minute OR 60 seconds… if you dont realise that you prob shouldnt be in control of some decks though… ie BPM does stand for Beats per minute…
thanks !, Inspire, motivate and generate new DJ’s !!!
Ellaskins’s way!
